Obedience Training
You play an important role with your pet in every step from beginning to end. Therefore our goal is to help build the bond between you and your pet for life. We have worked with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments including new puppies, adult dogs and rescued pets.
We offer training in the comfort of your home so that there is less stress on both you and family. Home training has its advantages:
There’s no boarding your pet and being concerned about their well being.
You have the comfort of your home to work with your pet on a daily basis.

You don’t have to deal with the large classes in the middle of a pet store.
With our one-on-one training, we offer several classes depending on your needs.
You get the satisfaction of saying “I trained my dog.”
Classes
In home sessions take place once a week in the comfort of your home. Your trainer will work with both you and your pet on the basic commands needed such as sit, heel, down, stay, come, leash training and behavioral concerns.
Basic Obedience & Behavioral Classes
Did you know that almost all behavioral problems can be corrected with proper basic obedience training? If your pet is too rough with your kids, visitors, housebreaking, jumping, bolting and counter surfing (just to name a few) then Behavioral Obedience class is what you may need. Your trainer will work with both you and your family on several methods used to teach basic commands. The lessons will help you understand the necessary techniques needed to teach the appropriate correction methods on how to handle behavioral concerns.
My dog is an adult – Can they still be trained?
It does not make a difference when it comes to training your pet. Whether your pet is new to your family or you have had your pet since he or she was a puppy, it’s never too late for your
best friend to learn new things.
We offer classes by the hour or in packages, depending on each family’s needs and concerns. Your pet is your pet, but more importantly a member of your family. No pet is too old or set in their ways to be taught something new. As pets age, they can develop new behaviors that may not always be acceptable. This is where the benefits of a trainer come in. Your trainer will work with you on correcting the behavior of your best friend.
Rescued Pets
some need extra attention and that some require a slower pace of training than others. Training will also help build that bond between you and your new pet. Not all rescues come to you as “perfect” pets that we would desire. We want to help you achieve that. Some just need reinforcement of what they already knew and for you to learn it.
Rescuing a pet is an important roll in the world today. So many pets are turned over to shelters and rescues and some are just “thrown” out like they are trash. Most for no real reason, other than the person did not think through what kind of dog they were getting. Or instead of training the puppy not to chew on the house they let it go and then get rid of the dog.
Our pets only know what we do and don’t teach them. If you don’t show them that they need to potty outside, instead of the living room floor – How are they to know? If you don’t teach them that they chew on thier toys and not the couch – How do they know?
